Get inside the clinic first
The entrance to the clinic and the Reception door are different locks. Use Zoe’s Lanyard on the reader outside the clinic to enter the building. You obtain the lanyard from the organ transport box in Zoe’s house; typing the reception combination at the outside entrance is not a substitute for that item.
Once inside, follow the corridor to the office marked Z Ellis. Inspect the computer monitor for its yellow sticky note. This is the local clue for the reception keypad, so it is the best place to check the digits if another answer has left you uncertain.
Enter 2896, with 9 before 6
Return to the door labelled Reception and select its keypad. Enter the four digits in order: 2, then 8, then 9, then 6. GameRant’s walkthrough reports that the door unlocks when the final digit is entered.
The September 22 GamesRadar article’s prose gave 2869, but its own full-size game screenshot shows 2896 on the Clinic Post It Note. Inside Reception, inspect the desk for the Nurse’s Rounds Form and listen to the answering machine. Its message directs you to the Pharmacy. There is also a telephone for manual saving. Opening the room gives you access to these interactions; do not stop at the unlocked door if you are trying to follow the next lead.
Before setting out, the clinic’s Z Ellis office also contains a Scalpel in a green case beside the computer. PowerPyx documents it as the tool used at the pharmacy’s sealed door.
