Silent Hill: Townfall Organ Box Code and Power Card Steps

Collect the light and the paper clue

Start in Zoe’s kitchen and inspect the box. The nearby drawer on its left contains the flashlight without batteries. Upstairs, search the drawer in the first room on the left for batteries and combine them with the flashlight in your inventory. Take the Organ Transplant Card from the bathroom floor upstairs.

Keep the card: the box uses information from it together with an email, so finding a long number alone is not the complete clue. There are two records on the card; you will need to match the correct one.

Restore electricity with the prepaid card

With the flashlight working, inspect the meter in the cupboard beneath the stairs and read its credit guide. Head to the newsagent marked on the map. Use the rear entrance, taking care around the enemy outside, and collect the prepaid electricity card from the cash register. Return to the meter in Zoe’s house.

• Insert the prepaid card into the meter’s slot.
• Use the panel’s A button to cycle to Card Credit.
• Press its B button to apply the credit.
• Operate the red master power switch at the lower right.

Read the email before turning the locks

Power up the living-room computer and read the partly corrupted email about the storage container. It identifies HFS-OPCS-Y015 and tells you which ends of its ET number matter. On the Organ Transplant Card, match that hospital reference to the right-hand record: 956234692133.

Take 956 from the beginning for the left lock, and 133 from the end for the right lock. Do not take one combination from each hospital record. Return to the kitchen, set both locks and accept the prompt to open the box.

The code is right but the box will not open

Check progress in order: working flashlight, meter inspected, power card collected, electricity restored, and email read. GamesRadar’s reviewer reports that even on a second New Game+ run the code alone did not bypass this sequence. Treat that as a reported progression requirement, not proof that every later patch behaves identically.

If the computer is still dark, revisit the meter’s final power switch. If you have read the email, compare its hospital reference with the card before retrying both locks. These checks address the puzzle sequence; no confirmed software-bug fix is claimed.

What completing this puzzle gives you

The box provides Zoe’s Lanyard, the clinic access ID. This guide stops at that pickup to avoid spoiling the clinic’s later puzzle. The September 21–22 walkthroughs agree on the route and combinations above; we have not independently played every difficulty or patch.
