Open Townfall’s New Game+ hotel symbol door with the 12-button sequence. Get the Strange Access Card without deciphering postcard stereograms.

In New Game+, press Bird → Tree → Planet → Bird → three-legged triangle → Satellite → Satellite → Fish → Rocket → Planet → Dog → Pillar. Numbering the 25 buttons left to right, top to bottom, that is 21, 17, 9, 21, 12, 24, 24, 5, 3, 9, 1, 14. You can enter the sequence without seeing the hidden postcard images.

Find the symbol door in the altered hotel
During Part 2: Zoe, while controlling Simon, accept Richard’s Gift from the box in Town Square. Enter the Haldane Hotel in the altered Shorefront and go upstairs. Look for the door covered with 25 symbol buttons. This New Game+ puzzle is separate from the first-run Room 204 date dials.
Enter all twelve presses, including repeats
Count button positions across each row from left to right, starting at 1 on the top row, and continue downward. Use the symbol names if counting positions is awkward. The naming varies between guides: the triangle is also called Trinity, Satellite is Sputnik, Rocket is Spaceship, and Pillar is Monument.

If your attempt resets or an old guide gives eleven buttons
Restart from Bird if you enter the wrong sequence. Keep both consecutive Satellite presses and include Rocket at press 9. PowerPyx’s author corrected a previously missing numeric Rocket entry after a September 24 reader report; its current list has twelve positions. The door opens after the completed sequence.
If you cannot read the postcard stereograms
October 2–3 Steam players describe difficulty seeing the hidden images. The direct button sequence above lets you continue without deciphering them. The cards are hints, and collecting all fifteen is a separate trophy task. We have not verified a new in-game accessibility setting that reveals the images.
Collect the Strange Access Card inside the opened room. It is one step of the Sci-fi route; the three Strange Books and final card reader still matter. These launch-route instructions were rechecked October 3, 2026, rather than tested on every platform and patch.
Common questions
Must I collect all 15 postcards to open this door?
No. They supply hints, but the documented Sci-fi route does not require collecting all fifteen. Enter the sequence in the correct New Game+ section.
Why is the symbol door missing on my first run?
This is a New Game+ door in the altered hotel during Simon’s Part 2 section after accepting Richard’s Gift. It is not the first-run bathroom date lock.
